The latest development to CAIS Online has been the addition of a Welfare Rights module which allows advisors to manage clients’ casework. To ensure best practice, the module was developed in conjunction with a steering group of Welfare Rights Advisors from councils across Scotland.

The module includes provision for the rights of children and carers and presents comprehensive options for tracking each case through four key stages of benefit check, claim, review and appeal.
